here is something i think can help with illegal immigration.
a temporary work program where mexican citizens can come over and do temporary work for farmers that they get paid for. housing is provided at cost that they pay for out of their earnings at an affordable cost and they are monitored to make sure they do not run away and become an illegal citizen in the usa, and when they are done working they get on a bus and go back to mexico with their earnings. basically what this means they are doing the work that is needed for farmers and various other work that needs to be done. this means that the work we need gets done and its giving the people that are over here illegally an incentive to got back to mexico and do this program because they cant get hired otherwise. we would give the farmers that use this program a tax break to encourage them to use it. i think this will help keep more from coming over here illegally. and make the ones that are over here already go back to mexico. this means they are not here permanently and when the work is done they go home. and the illegals that are over here already cant get on this program unless they go back to mexico and stay there, and not be over here illegally
btw im conservative
i would like your opinion on this idea

i am 100% against ANY further illegal immigration and any form of amnesty for those already here.
people need to understand:
Mexico's natural resources are as abundant as in the US or Canada. There is no reason for this stupid business of Mexicans having to come here to get a better life.
The fact is, Mexico's sole problem is corruption. And the reason this politically rotten to the core nation stays that way is because the US is the safety valve through which the unhappy citiizenry react to this oppressive corruption.
America needs to literally seal its southern border. The pressure from the abused citizens in Mexico will increase until the entire country will undergo a desperately needed revolution.
It is good that you're trying to look for solutions. However, the illegals here now would not take those jobs over the ones they currently have. It would bring in more illegals to take the jobs you want to "create" for them. And many if not most of them would eventually "meld" into other jobs here.
A solution I can see is two-fold:
1 - First, secure the border.
2 - A "semi" amnesty for those already here. They get permanent green cards that CANNOT be converted to citizenship - ever.
This is needed because they are not ever going back to their home countries - so that is not a realistic possibility. Also, by them NEVER getting the right to VOTE, it de-politicizes the issue.
Just as soon as Mexico does the same.
Yeah another person with a pic now :)
