I do. I think it's fun going to those games. Sometimes I think I have more fun at the minor league games than the NHL games because the arena only has roughly 3,000 seats and you always get a good seat. Plus, you get to see young talent playing their butts off in hopes of building a career. I still prefer NHL, but the minor leagues are fun too.
Update:TexHabsFan - Congrats on being a soon to be uncle! I have 3 nieces and nephews. They are great. You'll love it!
Update 3:NIPS - Congrats on your Indiana Ice winning the championship last year. I'm glad to hear that your league is gaining more respect.

Very much, have missed like 3 out of of their 70+ games since I moved here.
2 were because I was visiting my brother and his girlfriend (who's expecting to
give birth to their first baby anyday now) when they lived in New Brunswick and
the other because of an end of semester bbq with the Spanish Club at school.
Am bummed though our 2 francophone players aren't coming back this season.
I too prefer NHL but Dallas is a 12 hour drive each way, which makes it tough!
Thanks buddy this is the 2nd time I will be an uncle. My niece will be 8 this year.
This one, they're pretty sure it's gonna be a boy, who will be named after my dad.
The closest minor league team to me is the Florida Everblades. It is about an hour and a half away on the West Coast of Florida. Straight drive across Alligator Alley. I have been to several games . It is a fun time . But the Panthers are twenty minutes from my house .
I totally would but Portland needs a new rink its a cluster in there cause it only has one concourse for two levels and the concession lines go into traffic... its dreadful! I'm prolly gonna go up to Lewiston to see some QMJHL games this year, they need help keeping that team in America.
I used to go every weekend in Syracuse as long as it didn't conflict with the basketball game. I'm a Crunch fan in the AHL. 36oz beer fr $5.50, can't go wrong with that... especially since you can fit 3 of the ones you sneak into the game in that cup. Its great to watch Nasty Mirasty fight too! The dude doesn't feel punches... he is sick.
Our closest local is the Lake Erie Monsters....haven't gone to see them play but with some big names coming into the Avs locker room, might have to purchase a few tickets and head up there to watch a few games. Looking forward to buying some more Jackets tickets and try to see them when Pitt is in town.
Yes, I support as many as I can. I still go to see my old high school's hockey team (but that's only because they are extremely good and the coaching is top-ranked) and I go to a fair amount of college hockey games too. I go to see Robert Morris sometimes and tickets to Pitt's games are only 5 bucks so I go to watch them too.
Montreal Junoirs are close, and I'd really like to go see a game, but I'm moving and won't get to do so. But where i'm moving Newmarket, Ontario, hockey is a lot bigger and they have some good teams that I'd love to cheer on.
Indiana Ice, USHL Champions last year.... I go to many games!
The USHL is starting to garner some serious respect with the Alumni who have played in that league.......http://ushl.com/alumni/nhl.cfm
yea I enjoy many games at minor league officiaries under the court order of the coherrent law organization of new county
Hell ya! Going to Greyhound games is always a blast, I love the OHL.
