Do you think employers or potential customers.....?
Gather any conclusions about you when they see your email. Like if you email is from yahoo, or hotmail. Do you think they have a diffrerent onion about bellsouth.net or comcast.net. ? I have several email accounts and I use Yahoo the most. I have one with hotmail and another one with comcast, which do you think would be the best choice for business cards?
Update:Well the hot mail account is my initials, my yahoo account is my name with some numbers and my comcast account is just my name. They are all pretty much decent.

I once had a recruiter question my yahoo account ID. From that point on, I started using my comcast account, which I could check from anywhere.
As a customer, I could care less. A lot of my contractors work from home, and use a web based email that they can check from anyplace.
I don't think where you're email is located is the issue so much as your id. If you have [email protected], or hotmama4u it would bring up some concern. Granted what you do in your personal life is your business, just don't advertise it in your email address for potential employers to see.
It would depend on the screen name you use with each account. If it's something like your name, no conclusions. If it's "sexy lady," yes conclusions.
email is email it does not matter which one you use,what is of importance is your skills and qualifications.
