That's usually a good sign of depression. If you're in a northern climate where you get very little sun , you may be experience Seasonal Affective Disorder aka SAD. There is light therapy you can do but I'd talk to your family doctor about how you're feeling.
You don't have to go thru that alone, there are support groups, meds you can take . Mental health issues are not as stigmatizing as they used to be , many celebs and famous journalists and writers are opening up and admitting to depression and depressive periods.
Please get some help for yourself asap. Good luck.
every now and again. but how exactly do you know what empty feels like? its because you felt full. the sun rises and lowers. the moon comes up , then makes way for the sun again. the tides rise and fall.
how about an analogy. driving the car to work. some mornings it'll be mad and the butthead fast and furious drivers will tailgate or not use turn signals. but then some days you'll have people who exhibit courtesy and you drive is sorta nice...ya know? we experience the range of emotions we do as to appreciate them both.
how cool would it be if you were happy 24/7? youd forget what happiness is. but it would'nt be cool to be low all the time either....
write a journal, write poetry, do push ups and sit ups...but stretch first. get a book at the library about transcendental meditation.
Many people feel empty today because they are removed from close friends and family which is unforunate. Many people do what you are doing right here..Typing to strangers in Cyberspace.
I would hate to be a kid in today's society..My neighborhood was awesome one big block party every weekend. Sunday was family day when your entire family came over for dinner..
People are stuck in there houses and many people don't even know who there own neighbors are...
Find a purpose and a meaning in what you do..If people cared more about others than themselves we would be a happier society...

Just ate supper, now have gas. Mentally, exhausted at times, not empty. The best way to help yourself is to help others.
Empty is caused by low levels of chemicals in your brain.
That makes your emotions drop.
Buy The Step. Walmart has them.
Put it by your bed.
When you wake up, step up and down 20 times.
Before you go to bed, step up and down 20 times.
This will speed your metabolism up, of which will make more chemicals in your brain.
You WILL feel better.
At times I feel low not empty, Most of the time though Im full of crap and willingto give it to any one who does deserve it
Say or sing this song when you are feeling Blue;
The Sun will come out tomorrow, betcha bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be Sun. Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always tomorrow, it's only a day away!
well, confused about life, not empty right now.
I am empty.
All the time, especially when I'm alone and have no one to talk to.
