I know you can look up criminal records in ventura county, You just go to county of ventura courts, but when i tried the same thing in los angeles it just kept me going in circles.does anyone know how to get criminal back round on someone in los angeles county ?

There is an online criminal record search in Los Angeles County; you have to register and pay a fee, but it's only $4.75 per search. The search is at the first source below. The information available is limited to the defendant's name, charge(s), disposition (guilty/not guilty etc), case number, court, filing date, and disposition date.
You can ask to see the complete records at the court clerk's office. There will be a fee for this as well.
