Ihave eczema inmy ears and I have been putting some peroxide in my ears to help with the itching some. But it doesnt seem to be doing anything. Could by doingthis make it worse?
Makes it worse. Eczema is drying of this skin and peroxide and rubbing alcohol will only dry it out more. Go to store and look in section with ear drops and find one that says homeopathic and its for earaches and such, you can coat your ear with this and it has natural oils that will soothe and help moisturize it too. If its just on the outer ear and not the ear drum, its safe to use some non scented lotion and put it on a Q tip and gently rub that into your ear to moisturize. My favorite for this is aveeno. It smells slightly funny because its oatmeal lotion but its totally awesome for an eczema. And walmart and walgreens have a generic that works great, I use it for my eczema on my hands. If none of this helps you should seek help from a doctor.
Our family uses and recommends Salcura's products. Especially Salcura Dermaspray Intensive. It worked like a miracle to clear up the eczema. It's a natural spray, with a slight milky tint to it. Will stop the itching within minutes, and heal any eczema rash or inflammation rapidly. It's not only effective, but it absorbs very quickly, isn't greasy or sticky. would probably work well for your ear eczema.
My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.
Living with eczema at any stage in life, whether during childhood or adulthood, can evolve into a severely troublesome skin problem that can take a toll on your physical and mental health. Learn here https://tr.im/UdXHd
Recurring itchy, dry skin can turn to damaged, red, and raised patches that can lead to agony and embarrassment
My goodness! I get that too. Trust me, I know. Ugh, its suchhh a nuisance! I pick & pick and it just makes it worse. I think it may be soap, but idk. Then I get like a crusty feeling too, so I try to get rid of it, then my ear turns all red & it burns cuz I've been picking at it. I tried using a little bit of cream but it doesn't work. But the thing that really works is when your in the shower, use your wash cloth (squeez it so there isn't too much water that can get in your ear) and just scrub your ear. Then when you get out, make sure your ear is nice and dry. The put some(A TINSY BIT) of cream. It has shown some improvment in my ears! LOL! This also may be egsima (spelling..?). I have that, too, and its normally in place where its warm. (Xample: EARS,behind your knees, elbows; joints) Go to a dermatologist and get some cream for it, it should go away in a few weeks.
Omg stop. No your making it worse. I was told hydrate my skin. Your completely sucking the moisture out of it. I was told 5 minutes before a bath rinse the area with peroxide to sanitize (mine bleed a lot) but it has to be immediately rinsed off and lots of cream put on after the bath
A few more tips: topical medicines or ointments can be used to treat eczema, which are usually recommended or authorized by dermatologists and skin care experts. However, while these cures are available, you need to remember that prevention is still the best way to protect oneself from this skin condition. Make sure to keep your skin hydrated, maintain daily body hygiene, and avoid using skin products that are harsh on your skin. A good lifestyle can also prevent the onset of this skin condition. Always remember to take care of yourself, and avoid getting yourself into stressful situations. Develop this habit, and you'll be successful in averting this very common skin condition. It may be hard to do, but with a little discipline, persistence, and will power, you will be able to handle it well.
