i feel the games are getting easier and easier with each game. like the pokemon i assume are the equivalent to entei, raikou and suicune just jump in front of me in the new game. where as in gold in silver you had to find them in the wild before you could see where they were on you pokedex. and still it was harder. then the prof. just gives me a master ball. i remember in ruby i had to at least look for them, even if it wasn't a huge labyrinth, i didn't just get it handed to me. i still like the game just fine but it seems to be getting a bit too easy

Definitely not. I definitely had my challenges against Gym Leaders especially Elesa and Clay.
Granted Zekrom is easy to catch but that's supposed to be an easy catch. Kyurem was a bit difficult to catch but I still caught it. Granted I only caught them just because I could but they're not remaining in my Black 2 game.
In most cases, you don't always have to look for Master Balls.
The only instance of looking for them would be in the Hoenn-based games of Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
The President of Silph Co. gave a Master Ball to you in Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed and LeafGreen. Professor Elm gives the Master Ball to you in HeartGold and SoulSilver. I believe he also gives one to you in Gold, Silver and Crystal as well. Team Galactic's Cyrus gives you the Master Ball in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
There are however 2 free Master Balls that are given to you in Black 2 and White 2 however. Colress will also give you one.
Also keep in mind that Entei, Suicune and Raikou were usually roaming Pokémon which is why you had to see them before you could track them. Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion were never roaming Pokémon despite being the Legendary Trio of Unova which is basically the equivalent of Entei, Raikou and Suicune since they're the Legendary Beasts of Johto.
Yes it is easier. I caught them when they appeared in front of me. But this version you can change the game's difficultly. Making the Trainers/Gym/Elite 4 Harder. Also the Medal Rally which add a new element to the Pokemon series.
i see what you mean, you get the master ball after like 6 badges whereas you usually get it right at the end :/ i got the game the day it came out and beat it a few days later, the elite 4 were pushovers aswell, i think nintendo need to buck their ideas up and make a hard game where its possible to lose to just normal trainers and especially gym leaders :)
