And, yes, true love does exist. I think more so when we are younger. As we get older, we put more demands on it, Maybe it's better to get a dog if you don't have one.! They love us no matter what. I try to be the person my dog thinks I am, maybe that way, I'll find true love again and maybe you can stop wondering, if you have a dog and do the same thing...lol!

People who do make relationships work do so through companionship, compatibility and mutual respect, every relationship will sail through rocky waters once in a while, but understanding and compatibility gives people something to fight for in such times, it's nothing magical its just a mechanical process, but such combinations of two individuals is very rare these days. everyone gets past that bubbly stage of love but to keep things going lovers need to become the best of companions. i don't know about true love, it' somewhat an amorphous concept.

Yes, it does. I'm in it. To me, true love is when you show all of yourself to someone, good and bad, and they love your for all of it, and you feel the same way about them. Life happens, bad things happen, but does not effect the way we feel about each other. We may have our differences, but we don't lie, we don't cheat, we really are best friends, and we really do love each other. We are each other's strength, confidant, and happiness. Sometimes we might get annoyed at each other, but I don't think it has ever damaged the love that we have for each other.

Wen you first get married or are in a relationship it's just so great and "Oh we're going to be together forever?" Really. If they ge married they might be, might not. But they won't be happy. When you first get married it's so great and hopeful. But when your 60 and fighting and don't talk to each other and don't want to please each other, then it was never true love. Maybe there is such a thing, who knows, but it doesn't last.
