If your doctor didn't have the sense to sit down and talk to you, it may be time to look into a new doctor. Dysplasia means that you have abnormal growth in cells. I'm thinking your doctor meant cervical dysplasia in which case it means that the cervical cells they looked at didn't look like cervical cells. You should ask your doctor to what degree has your dysplasia occured to. Minor dysplasia usually means that your body will get rid of the bad cells themselves. Extreme dysplasia can be the precursor to cervical cancer, so please sit down and tell your doc you want a one on one.
