I am entering my sophomore year of college. I am currently a Political Science Major. Lately, I have also seriously considered majoring in elementary education. I work with kids entering kindgergarten through fourth grade, and I love it, which made me consider education. I also really love politics, I worked on a political campaign 2 years ago, and I worked twice at the polls on election day. I was planning to double major, but I found out I can't. I could get an undergrad degree in Poli Sci, and get a Master's in Elementary Ed. What do you think I should do?

BUT.....I'm on a hiring search committee. If we were looking for an elementary teacher, we would not hire one that did not have an undergrad degree in education...or maybe perhaps math.
