Estee Lauder and MAC are made by the same company. The only difference is, Estee Lauder is for more mature skin.

Estee Lauder is for around 50+ because their foundation formula is designed for more mature skin.

When it comes to foundation for more mature skin, there are different needs to be met.

For example, more mature skin needs more focus on coverage that doesn't settle into fine lines but rather decreases the appearance of them. That is how Estee Lauder has changed since they were founded and that's what I was saying regardless of any history of the companies (which I obv. already knew) because I don't think history of the company really matters when it comes to chosing a product.

Estee lauder was the original company and through the years has geared theor products to the older generations, and reformulating their products for more mature skin types.

M.a.c. is the subsidiary brand from parent company estee lauder started in the early 80's. They took advantahe of the ever growing fashion world and becoming geared toward a younger comunnity, whilst the parent brand could still represent the older generations.

& purple eye shadow looks best on brown eyes! trust me. I have brown eyes and it made my eyes pop. My boyfriend complimented me :)

MAC. it isnt even worth comparing. MAC is soo much better then every makeup.

and if you dont want neutral colors then i recommend a matte navy blue.
