If you will be keeping the horse at the school, then yes I think you would be fine to lease. The reason I say that is because, although you know the basic horse care - I fear you might not recognise the more sinister things - such as if your horse was colicking or if they need new shoes and so on.
By leasing at the school - the owner will be able to keep an eye on the more complicated things - allowing you to enjoy the use of the horse for the other things

I think you are experienced enough. Leasing a horse is a good way to grow as a rider. As long as you don't push yourself or the horse on jumping you should do fine. Leasing is a great way to create a bond between you and the horse. Make sure you look around before you decide.
Best of luck!
If you want to lease a school horse and will keep him at the same barn I say why not!
At the end of the day you will have plenty on people to give you advice and help when you need it.
Good luck :)
You don't even have to know how to ride to lease a horse.
People who are clueless lease horses all the time....and the horses take care of them, babysit them and it works out.
People who have idea about horses also buy them.
There's no rules in life about this sort of thing. Go out and lease a horse and be happy. You're already ahead of a lot of other people.
A 0.5-hire isn't a extensive dedication. there is the different individual leasing the horse as nicely because of the fact the legal proprietor who're looking over your shoulder, so while you're making a mistake probability is somebody will capture it. as long as you hit upon a horse which you would be able to with ease experience, then you definately could be nice. don't be afraid to ask inquiries to be sure you're doing each thing suitable.
well horses are not only about muchkin stalls and riding, grooming! you have to really know about horses their body parts so you can tell the vet where she/he is sore. Also about some issues about horses health but your not too far just quiz yourself a little bit and I think you should be ready :)
You definatly sound experienced enough! Leasing is a great experience and you should definatly do it. Good luck and have fun!
