I attend a school outside of the country, but I'm an American citizen. The school I attend is fairly new (it's been open for only two years) and I'm concerned about the extracurricular aspect of getting into the Naval Academy or any other service academy to be honest. Sports wise I currently participate in, Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Beach Volleyball, Varsity Gymnastics, and I founded and am the captain of the school's cheerleading team. Clubs wise I currently am in active member in War hammer club, Debate Team, MUN, Student Council, Math Team (captain), and I founded the spirit committee. I know that I actively participate in a lot of things but I'm concerned that it isn't quite what a service academy would look for. My dad graduated from the Naval Academy and when I ask what things he did in high school he lists all of these things like Key Club, NHS, etc. but my school doesn't offer any of these things and neither do the surrounding schools so it wouldn't be worth transferring schools for clubs. Any suggestions on things I can do to improve my application or just any advice on what I'm currently doing. Any help is appreciated and big thanks to everyone who can help me out (:

If you are doing as much as is available, your currently extensive extracurricular record should not hurt your application. Qualifying for NHS if it were available is equivalent to NHS membership, which is not a deciding factor in an application in any event.
