My girlfriend was in a car accident almost a year ago. Since it, she's gained about 36 pounds. Last month she gained 4. She wants to lose it, but she just can't. It's very hard for her to lose weight. Dieting never worked for her, and she can't do simple exercise such as long walking due to her foot being injured. It may be a permanent injury. Before the accident, she was walking, and after three years of it she was finally starting to lose weight.
Shes not obese, so drastic surgery isn't available. Diet pills and lipo are out of the question as well. What can she do? She's going to try biking. If it doesn't hurt her foot, it will take forever to start losing it again. If he does hurt, well, exercise is pretty much out of the question too.
Shes been tested for thyroid problems, and hers is normal. She just has a very slow metabolism and family genetics of being larger.
Is there anyone who can help? Doctors shes seen are practically worthless.

I would suggest going to the government food pyramid site. You can get an idea on food choices and portions there. Small changes make a huge difference over time. Don't buy into diet pills, fad diets, etc. They don't work in the long run, they just cause you to gain more weight.

Now whenever it comes to weight loss you should follow these simple steps that have helped me tremendously lose weight, pretty quickly if you ask me. And I've been trying to lose weight forever and finally found the correct system to help me out...
The first thing you need to do is about 30 minutes of cardio everyday, try to get at least 3-4 days of that people...Exercising is one very important issue you don't want to be lazy in.
The second thing you should realize is that you cannot eat everything in sight that probably got you looking the way you are right now or the reason you want to lose weight. The pounds come with the food you eat. How do you stop yourself from eating and get a little boost with ousting fat from the food you eat? Simple...
The third and final step is the correct natural weight loss supplement. For me, I found Proactol to be the best. Now this isn't aimed towards lazy people that want to take a pill and sit on the couch all night and day. These are to tremendously help out with dieting and exercising. For me they were great because with my diet, they basically take out up to 28% of the fat you intake. Not to mention the killer appetite suppressant Proactol is. Every day you will fall under your calorie intake and find yourself one more day closer to your goal.
These steps really worked for me, you should try them out for yourself even if you want to lose very little or that extra mile. Also at the time of my 3 month supply purchase of Proactol, I saved a lot of money on it at theweightlossplace .com
Good luck and I hope this helps you out for your weight loss goals.
Sounds difficult for her.
Has she tried swimming. its an effective form of weight loss if you swim for at least 15 lengths without stoppong and if she tried to do this 3/4 times a week, she'll build up her speed and stamin really quickly and be able to swim 40 lenhths after one mile. She will notice her metabolism increasing by the way she'll start being able to burn fat.
Also, with regards to her diet, she should try cutting right back on carbs and eating lots of lean chicken, fish and vegetables. no white bread or white pasta at all. Also, if she can, she should cut out milk which i think really bulks people up.
Hope this helps.
