Team A:
Muhsin Muhammad (Car - WR)
Kevin Smith (Det - RB)
for
Team B:
Ryan Grant (GB - RB)
Steve Smith (NYG - WR)
Who wins short term (2009)? Why?
Who wins in the long run? Why?
Update:Chris,
Why so high on Kevin Smith (and Stafford )?
You don't feel the possibility of S. Smith becoming a legitimate #1 for the Giants outweighs the slight advantage K. Smith might have over R. Grant?
Plaxico averaged 1000+ yards and nearly 10 touchdowns three strait season with E. Manning under center.

In the short term I think Team A will win. The Lions want to get Kevin Smith more touches this year and I believe their line is a little better. Muhammad is a reliable no. 2 in the Panthers offense.
Ryan Grant's production dropped last year and I don't think it will get much better this year. The Packers are a passing team and Grant is only getting older. Steve Smith could be a sleeper, but don't count on it. The Giants like to run, Manning is unreliable, and Hixon looks to have the 1 slot locked up.
In the long term I think it is a toss up. Grant and Muhammad are not great long term investments. The Smiths should both develop nicely, but I just prefer Kevin Smith honestly.
Team A. I like Kevin smith more and with a quarterback threat I think he'll be able to do more this year. Ryan Grant hasn't been the same after his first year and do you really trust little manning being able to throw the ball consistently.
Team A stands out in my mind short term and long term.
Steve Smith is not Plaxico Burress. I just don't see anyone replacing him this year. I believe they will use their three running backs to pound away all game.
Its a tough call...For 2009 I think its about even but for the long run I think Team B is better because M. Muhammad is on his last year or two while you get a young S. Smith who is turning into Eli's 1st or 2nd option and R. Grant and K. Smith is a wash for me. Good Luck..
team B wins both Grant is a good RB now K smith is not. steve smith is young and is number two on the giants and maybe number one. muhammad is old and wased up team b wins by land slide
i could pull the set off - Alexander strikes me because of the fact the form of participant who will pull an out-of-the-bllue retirement assertion whilst he tweaks something - which I envision would be each few weeks for something of his occupation... Jones-Drew, extremely in the journey that your league counts return yards, is a probable play into the forseeable destiny & the Giants look dedicated to Jacobs... Jamal and Tatum would be high quality backups & Ladell and LenDale ought to marvel...
