Well, i've always wondered what this file was. Whenever my computer is veeeeerrry slow, i open my task manager and see that FBAgent.exe is using about 900,000k memory on my cpu. once i close it, my cpu usually starts working fine.
I run on an ASUS.
Is FBAgent.exe a requred application in order for my cpu to work? if it is, is there a way to prevent it from constantly sucking up my ram?

its safe. its a process of ASUS FastBoot feature,it decreases 64-bit Windows 7 boot time by tuning the BIOS and decreasing the number of startup applications however it uses alot of ram to do this...
I would disable this service if you dnt use the feature
