If you don't use enough PB Blaster (really good for removing rusted screws) and an impact wrench, you have a good chance of destroying the straps that hold the tank up. I don't know if you can get exact replacements for the straps. When I had work done on mine, the shop found a pair but had to have them shipped to them.
Get as much fuel out of the tank as possible. It gets really heavy if there are 10 gallons of gas in there.
You need the car at least 24" off the ground to have room to get the tank out. It drops straight down but all the connections you have to undo are at the top.
The fuel filter is behind (towards the back of the car) the fuel tank. It is reachable with the car up where you can crawl under it.
