Without a doubt Frank the Tank and I'll tell you why. First off, I am a huge Clinton Portis fan but he is flawed in several key ways.
1. Without a proper offensive line, he gets shut down left and right.
2. Slim to no receiving abilities.
3. In addition to #2 while he is the best blocking RB in the league, he rarely breaks off for screen passes that could become huge plays.
Gore is in his prime now and Portis is going down hill fast. Gore is basically Brian Westbrook with a harder nosed running style that can either torch a defense, or break it apart up the middle.
i could say Peterson is a ought to-start up till shown otherwise. His QB, Tarvaris Jackson, basically threw 23 passes (of which basically 9 have been finished), so the dashing attack is rather all that group has. i could say Gore presented you get factors for tries on the two dashing and passing. Alex Smith is questionable to play and you may assume they are going to grant the ball to Gore till the wheels fall off. Portis isn't a bad determination the two, yet he's been banged up, continuously a difficulty that they can supply Betts some incorporates with a lead late interior the sport just to grant Portis a sprint relax.
I honestly do not think there is much of a choice here. They are both very very good players who are somewhat injury prone and both play with average at best QB's and average to slightly above average offensive lines.
Portis might be a better runner but Gore is an equally better receiver. Being not only a Redskins fan I must admit I am a bit of a 49ers hater so I do not follow Gore closely so I was a bit unsure about injuries. Portis has missed 12 games out of 112 games (10.7%). Gore has missed 5 games out of 48 games (8.33%). So fairly similar there.
I honestly do not think there is a bad choice; however, I think I would go with Gore just because he is younger.
That's an easy one, I'll take Frank Gore any day of the week. He is the new Marshall Faulk because he can not only run, he can receive as Faulk could. Portis is good too, but he is not the complete player that Gore is as well as that Portis' time is nearing a closer end as he is older then Gore.

uhh Clinton Portis no questions asked. Gore isn't even close to being as talented as Portis.
FRANK THE TANK. Clinton Portis is also good, but, I think Frank is more fun to watch because in my opinion he has better abilities.
There both great and from the U.
Frank Gore
Frank Gore
for the guy who said Frank Gore is too injury prone;
He has only missed 4 games the last 3 seasons.
