g6 tranny and Northstar engine?
Will a G6 6-speed transmission fit right up to a Northstar engine? or will i have to get a conversion kit for it? and if i do have to get a conversion kit... then what kind will i need? if you have any other suggestions about what transmission to use then that would help alot
Update:alright it is a 6-speed manual transmission from a g6 and a 4.6L Northstar engine from a caddy. sorry i didn't know there were the auto 6-speeds. and where would i go to help me find out what bellhousings to use?

the bell housing has to match, so you may need an adapter kit you supplier should be able to advise you.
There's 3 different 6 speed transmissions (1 manual and 2 automatics), and 5 different engines available in G6's over the years, so you're really not giving us much to work with.
But as far as it bolting right up, the answer would seem to be no.
