The term 'genetic sexual attraction' obviously holds a lot of truth, as stories like this do crop up from time to time, and it's usually after a reunion as adults. The term 'sicko' seems a tad harsh, as I doubt these people expected these feelings for one second, and probably have no other sexual deviancy's such as are common nowadays with pornography on tap. I don't condone it, but I don't think some answerers are actually paying any attention to the details of what is happening here.

My personal opinion would be to walk away from each other, and deal with being apart, rather than face huge problems in the future.

If it had happened without them knowing they were father/daughter, I would mark it up to just sexual attraction. But since they did know and still engaged in that sort of behaviour, I would say they're a couple of freaks.

She goes looking for her father (Who she never met) because he walked out on her and her mother, leaving them both to have to rely on her Mothers parents and then she meets her long lost feckless father and not only starts having sex with him but then thinks "Lets have a child together?" An adult should not be denied his or her rights to love, sex, and marriage with ANY consenting adults. They are not sick. They are in love and happy, and some may be jealous of that. It may very well be Genetic Sexual Attraction. The man has probably matured somewhat in all of these years, and the meddling parents aren't around. Let's hope the law doesn't meddle either.

it's a known problem, people are not sexually attracted to family members because of proximity. If they grow up separately, this can occur.
