Of course the planet is warming, it has been since the Younger Dryas ended about 10,000 years ago, although with a few set-backs, like the "Little Ice Age" that occurred during the 1800's.
The temp increases we saw in the late 20th century are purely the result of increased solar activity, and temps were highest back int he 1930's!
Over the last 8 years, we have had a gradual cool-down from an extended solar minimum and resultant La Nina, and 2009 is likely to be colder yet.
There is no science to support Anthropocentric Global Warming.
If the temperature goes up another degree in the next 30 of 40 years from now... I'll be dead anyway, I won't care then, and I don't care now.
There are many different theories about what it could be. Even more theories that we could tax ourselves into oblivion, and not even affect it at all, if it is man made.
I think GW is just another way, for the environuts and the Gvt to screw with the public for money and taxes.
Well, if you are not satisfied with the evidences so far, maybe you can decide later on in your life, ... when you are experiencing yourself all the idiot myths ...Then you can have your enviro-fantasy to be on the present time where you still be able to repair all the chaos & to make the world a better place.
Why are you bothering to even ask this question? You've obviously already made up your mind against it and no argument or evidence would have any chance of swaying you from that.
I could say that there's no forcing agent for the change we are experiencing, and that the rate of change that we see is far faster than anything natural. The only changes are our own contributions. The last ice age was an average of only 4c colder than today, and the last time it was 3c warmer than now (a figure we're well and truly headed for), seas were 80 feet higher. The average temp doesn't need to change much to make massive global differences.
We have warmed but it is nothing that would make you automatically think that it isn't completely natural. So far, it is entirely beneficial.
I would normally say it is good to study it but the studies are only funded for those studies that show dire outcomes. it has become radicalized and the science has been corrupted by distorting all the conclusions to be as negative as you can contort the data.
Global warming occurs when the average global surface temperature increases. Anthropogenic global warming happens when mankind's behaviors are responsible for the change.
Since the turn of the last century, the average global temperature has risen by about 0.8°C (about 1.4°F). Most of this increase has come within the last thirty years.[1]
Based the fact that the average global temperature is rising, we can say that global warming is real.
Furthermore, was know that recent global warming is the fault of man made greenhouse gases. Atmospheric CO2 levels have risen by over 35% since the time of industrialization. Most, if not all of this increase is the result of mankind.[2]
We know that increases in greenhouse gases are responsible for our recent global warming because (A) nothing else can explain global warming (not changes in solar radiation[3] or cosmic rays[4]); and, (B) it is a scientific fact that greenhouse gases prevent outgoing infrared radiation from being lost to space. More greenhouse gases in the atmosphere mean that less energy (i.e. heat) is lost to space, which causes the surface of Earth to heat up.
Edit. The alternations of glacial and interglacial periods of an ice age have been fairly well linked to the Milankovitch cycles.[5] The Milankovitch cycles are small, predictable wobbles in Earth’s orbit the take it closer to or further from the sun.
Just how does the existance of ice ages disprove greenhouse warming? Remember, climate has more than one influence. Likewise, forest fires have long had natural causes (lightening); this does not mean that a careless camper is unable to start a forest fire.

why would you ask the question when you have already made up your mind?
myth or not, i do not really care. i know i hate to live under the muslim's dirty oil influence.
i go for greener better and newer way of generating our everyday life energy.
i do not care whoever want to live with the over 100 years old technology.
I've been predicting a cooler climate for the last several years. -- all the hubbub about significant warming occurred around the last sunspot peak, and there are predictions that the next several sunspot cycles would be weaker than normal.
Then sunspots dropped to zero a couple of months ago, and have stayed there. That tells me it's going to get COLD.
I don't know where "Benjamin" gets his "facts", but it's a pure enviro fantasy and myth, and been proven to be such more times than Benjamin says it's been proven. It's a sick joke put on by democrats, for whatever sick reason. You're totally right. There is NO real evidence. There's not any evidence at all of any kind! God Bless you and save us from the demos.

Im not even going to bother, recent rises in global temperature clearly show a coloration between CO2 emissions and rising temperature.
