I find something terribly wrong with fallowing the writings of some thing that was written thousands of years after the fact. which the bible was written long after Christ was born lived and died.

So how do you know that it was not written by a bunch of old priest high on Peyote or Poppy's?with nothing better to do than make up stories?

Actually, God does love you and that is why He made laws against activities that are harmful to yourself and others.

Abortion: Killing children in the name of convenience not only puts to death a person who never got the chance to breathe, but also has been shown to lead to mental anguish and health issues for the aborter.

Homosexuality: Harmful to the basic family unit that God established to raise children in a healthy environment.

Atheism: Denial of that which is evidently true in the universe and telling your Creator He does not exist is not exactly an intelligent move on anyone's part.

False religions: Telling God that His Son died for nothing because another god is going to send you to his special place is not recommended. Not only will it not work, but God likes His own plan of redemption.

Premarital sex: Damaging to society by producing children out of the safe environment of marriage and promoting sexually-transmitted diseases more quickly than Ellen can cry over a lost puppy.

Not following the Ten Commandments: Through God's grace we do not have to follow them rigidly, but many of the commandments speak of not murdering, stealing, or having sex with your neighbor's wife. That should be obvious, and I'm sorry you have a problem with not doing those things.

So, think about those things before thinking God hates you. Maybe your parents hated you, too, when they told you not to cross the street without looking.

HOWEVER, you certainly hear a lot of Christains ballk about how God hates this and that. God hates sin, just like when my parents hated my drinking at my friend's house in HighSchool...they didn't hate me though. Same thing.

As for the Heretics that think they God's ear, preaching that God hates Homosexuals or troubled people...I am bring an extra bag of popcorn come judgement day to see the condemnation God will deliver upon those people. Actually you are not correct. God does love you, regardless of what you do or what you believe. However, God also hates sin. He cannot tolerate it. That's why he took the trouble to put together a plan to provide a way for sin to be paid for, so that he could show his love to us, even though we do not deserve his love.

No. God doesn't have to hate anybody. The fundamentalists are doing such a good job of that, God can just sit back and love everybody.

The idea that God hates any one of the above, doesn't come from God. If I may suggest, it comes from judgmental Christians who do not read their own Bibles?
