I am currently interested in reading classic books. I would like to know good classic books that are at least grade 10 level (I'm in grade 9 and I prefer more complex novels). Does anybody know any good novels for me to read?

I recommend
- The Lady of the Camellias, by Dumas

- Man and Wife, Wilkie Collins
- The Moonstone, Wilkie Collins
- Short stories of Tchekov
Fiction
Never cry wolf
A tale of two cities
The Sword in the Stone
For Whom The Bell Tolls
The Grapes of Wrath
A Death in the Family
The Heart of the Matter
The Stranger (Camus)
Animal Farm
Invisible Man (Ralph Ellison)
The Moviegoer
Watership Down
The Sotweed Factor (takes a while to get going, but hold on)
Non Fiction
Roots
The Guns of August
Story of an African Farm
Blackberry Winter, My Early Years (Margaret Mead)
The Gold of Troy
The Diary of Anne Frank
The Autobiography of Malcolm X
The Way Things Work
The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky is one of my all-time favorites. Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson is also great and about at the level you are looking for. Miss Lonelyhearts and the Day of the Locust are good shorter stories by Nathanael West which you may also appreciate.
Hawthorne's The House of the Seven Gables and The Scarlet Letter
Austen's Pride and Prejudice
Crime and Punishment
The Count of Monte Cristo
The Prince
Anna Karenina
Madame Bovary (I didn't love this book but you might)
Doctor Zhivago
How Green Was My Valley (also not my favorite, but complex)
Green Dolphin Street
My Cousin Rachel
Rebecca
Jane Eyre
Wuthering Heights
The Jungle
The Age of Innocence
The House of Mirth
The Great Gatsby, Catch-22, The Bell Jar or anything by Dickens.
Help with mine?

I have not got any thought what grade 9 or ten ability. yet i might desire to warn ou that in case you fee your sanity, do no longer study HEMINGWAY. Heller, Melville, Austen, Thackeray, Bronte (determination of three), Dostoevsky, Coelho, Kipling, Hugo, Cervantes, Flaubert - sure. Even Dickens in case you could desire to. yet no longer Hemmingway.
