Green Lantern Movie 2011 vs Green Lantern DC Comics?
All that you know of the green lantern core and the energalactic peacekeepers like Hal Jordan and John Stewart what can you say about the Film good or bad and opinion on a reboot or sequel should there be will there be? based on the comics was the film anything close to that? I really like Hal Jordan as a Lantern over John Stewart does anyone else believe Hal is a better Lantern? tell me all you can and some opinions

The Green Lantern theater release was absolute garbage. The extended cut released on DVD and Blu-ray was a far better edit but still overall a lousy movie. The character portrayed in the movie was Hal Jordan in name only and was almost nothing like the character that has been popular in the comics since 1959. Most everyone familiar with every incarnation of the character likes Hal Jordan best, but he has undergone numerous transformations over the years. I personally am partial to the newly recast version of the original Green Lantern character, Alan Scott, who was created in 1940 by Bill Finger and Marty Nodell. The recent stories featuring Alan Scott as Green Lantern can be found in DC's New 52 title, "Earth 2".
