Update:what types of guns and knives; (examples include,switchblades, AK's, etc.etc.) are you allowed to have on you or in your home, vehicle, etc. in CA and NV?

Dont know anything about NV, but in CA there is a different waiting period for riffles and hand guns (shorter waiting period for riffles). You must obtain a permit to buy them, which requires fingerprinting and taking a gun law and safety test and you are not allowed to carry a concealed gun. This is based on what we've been through buying guns in CA. I know they are a little more lax in NV but I dont know specifics.
