Sort of confusting: it's sort of backwards. it translates literally to it pleases me. So, the reflexive part refers to the person who likes the thing, and the verb (gustar) should be conjugated according to the noun.
He likes her= a el le gusta esa chica
they like the dog= ellos les gusta el perro

we like movies= nos gustan las peliculas
