Ok so my mom has been losing a lot of hair in the past month. If she puts her hands through her hair she looses a lot more than she usually does. Her scalp is a lot more noticeable.
Could it be from the hair products she uses? She doesn't really use much hair products. Her shampoo and conditioner were John Frieda Root Awakening. She started losing a lot of hair around the time she started using this shampoo. She stopped using it about a week or two ago because she thought it might be from the shampoo. Now she is using Pantene. Also she uses Biosilk: Silk Therapy every once in a while after she washes her hair. She washes her hair every 2-3 days if that helps. She doesn't comb her hair either. She rarely ever styles her hair with heat. Its usually just tied up in a bun.
So could it be from the John Frieda shampoo? Also she is 47 so i guess it is normal for her to lose hair but it seems like its too much. So if you know what is causing this can you please help!! Also do you know anything that will make her hair grow better?
Thank You!!!!!!

Her diet may be low in iron, if your mother is anemic she is low in iron and that lack of vitamin it is making her hair fall out. If she is very low, she should go buy some iron pills, or up her diet in rich proteins. DO NOT USE PANTEEN! They use plastic in their products and it is supposed to make your hair appear shiny but it really just damages it. John Freida is usually a good product, but i would recommend using Tresemme or Fructis products.
hair just takes time to grow, remember to get a trim to keep the dead ends away, and deep condition once a week.
juvenile alopechia is more commonly brought on through strain additionally brought on through ladies whom twirl and bite their hair in the only spot, as a result strain forming at the hair follicle inflicting splitting and breakage, hair dyes too can purpose this. I might advise rubbing a nut centered oil into the spot massaging it in for 10 mins an afternoon to stimulate new development, hold your hair brief as not to purpose strain within the period the longer your hair is the extra it has to wrestle to supply ample common oils that coat the hair and get to the ends. If the obstacle has no longer be ready to be managed through the age of 17 you could have got to seem into a few option measures. Hormones may also be very disruptive in teenage years and take a at the same time to calm down.
