they do not have a history of having crappy systems break on people...
from the nes, snes, gameboy, gamecube and wii all of those systems were built pretty good and i have not heard any complaints from people saying they broke on them right away
however nintendo is far from perfect and have put out a lot of qustionable products such as r.o.b. the robot, power glove, super scope, vitual boy and others... the n64 controllers have a history of putting out that white power residue from the analog along with having a few power buttons mess up
for the most part nintendo does build good products that do not break

It seems like it, except for the SNES all of my friends had to have something fixed with that beast.
