the equation for heat = specific heat * temp change * mass
and the answer is 30.0 .i dont know how to do it

you need to know the specific heat of water = 1Kcal/Kg or 1cal/g
heat = mass x specific heat x ∆T
heat = 1kg x 1Kcal/kg x 30ºC = 30Kcal
