I was sitting outside watching a movie in the grass. I had my laptop placed on the grass and I laid on top of my blanket (my fault for not putting my laptop on it too) and when I got back to my dorm and set my laptop on my desk, I found tiny black ants all over it. They are crawling from the bottom, where the vents are.
How can I get rid of them??? I don't have a vacuum, so I can't suck them out.
I put double-sided tape over the vents to trap them. I won't keep the tape there for long, I just want to see if it'll work. Help?

turn your laptop off for awhile so the warmth will come out, and find a homemade recipe online for ant killer/attracter. set a small bowl of it near your laptop and it might lure the ants out.
why would you want to trap them inside?
not logical!!
if you leave tape on with machine on, it will overheat and shutoff!!!
also, not too smart to damage unit!!!
put some syrup on center of 18" of wax paper a few feet away from the
laptop, they'll all go for the syrup, then you can gather them up and dispose
back into the grass or garbage can
Unscrew the bottom and get rid of them. After that make sure there's no eggs ( they look white). Then screw it back on.
