oh so then when she hits "OK" it shuts down and restarts again with the same message...
Update:So my mom unplugged the router for her computer (we have 2) because she couldn't access the unternet on it. And this one is working, but hers isn't. So she unplugged it to try and restart/reboot her internet and now when she turns it on, it says "Windows is restarting" as it usually does when we turn it on, but then a message that says exactly this comes up:
Isass.exe - System Error
An invalid parameter was passed to a service or function
How can I fix this? We really need this computer! (only one with a printer) and she is relying on me to fix it.
Please keep steps to fix it detailed because I'm only 15 and not very savvy with computers!

Step 1.
Find somebody who knows about computers.
Step 2.
Let them fix it.
In the meantime why not try unplugging the network from the computer and reboot. If it boots OK then you know you have a network interface problem. Then tell your friendly computer geek to uninstall and reinstall the network drivers for your ethernet card.
After closing the computer down completely, switch of at mains, open the side compartment of base unit and carefully clean, your fan may be overheating.
Good luck.
Restart it,start tapping F8 as soon as you see the screen come on,choose last known good configuration.
