First of all, I have absolutely no sound. Not only do my laptops speakers not work, headphones won't either.
Secondly, when I turn my computer on, a little bubble pops up at the bottom right saying something about installing device driver software like when you plug something in with a USB, but I don't have anything plugged in.
Finally, after that decides to tell me the installation failed, it says something about USB not recognized, yet again, I have nothing plugged in.
I have an HP laptop with beats by Dre in it with windows 7. I've tried many different suggestion to fix these things after searching on google for a while to no avail. I'm getting extremely frustrated. Please help!!!

Down at the bottom right of the screen there's a speaker icon that controls sound. Click on this and then click on "mixer" at the bottom. Make sure that all of the applications that you're trying to get sound from are all the way up. If this doesn't work, then it's probably the audio jack that's broken and may have to be replaced. When you plug in the headphones, a little switch in the jack tells the speakers to shut up and cuts off the sound. If that is stuck in and the jack isn't registering an input, then speakers won't work and the headphones won't be registered by the laptop.
Edit: I just read an article on kioskea and someone managed to fix it by inserting headphones into the jack and pulling them out at varying speeds, and it reset the switch. Might be worth it to try that out before replacing the jack or having someone look at the computer, as that can get pricey if there's not actually a real problem with it.
It sounds like your audio software is corrupt inside the laptop. Basically, the audio drivers are not joined anymore to the computer, and so they try to reinstall it, but because it's corrupt, it can't.
If you are good with hardware then it could be fixed by replacing it or something... However, if your laptop is still under warantee, show them at the shop you bought it from, and if they can't make it work perfectly again then they can give you a new one.
Also, your local PC doctor should be able to sort it, they are very good, they all have PhDs and they will really be able to fix it for a price.
Hope this helps!
No in no way, it is basically it you have been utilising it in view that 2000, and that i guess not something has been reinstalled. Your laptop probable has quite a few disk fragmentation, which could be fastened with the help of utilising Disk Defragmenter. additionally this is nice to to run examine disk, that's a application which will test your complicated driving force for errors and fasten what it could. those classes could be discovered with the help of going into my laptop perfect clicking on force C: occurring to properties and as quickly as the window pops up bypass to the techniques tab. examine disk is decrease than errors-checking click on the button next to it examine the two bins and click ok restart enable it run then whilst your laptop boots up bypass back to a similar window and bypass to the disk defragmenter decrease than examine disk, click this is button and whilst the Defragmenter a lot click the defragment button. this could make an effort, yet enable it run and don't do something on your laptop, it won't harm it to attain this, regardless of if it will improve the time it takes to defragment, so it is right left on my own. solid success. P.S.- i does not do a sparkling installation basically yet, which could be drastic and time eating to assert the least, as properly it does positioned your laptop by some rigors and your hardware might fail leaving you devoid of working laptop, i could advise purely doing that for the time of the journey that your laptop starts having errors, and then i could advise having a technician do it in case some thing does take place, determine to ask them to back up your information, in case you would be unable to or don't be attentive to how.
