THe problem is when i turn my other comp on i get a screen saying please enter the correct boot something or use a media boot then press any key. What does this mean and can someone help. Thank-you.
this means that your operating system has not been properly installed. if you want to fix the problem, you will probably have to reinstall your operating system. you will need to insert the boot disk, then restart the system and then continue with installation.
i also have that problem occasionally with my computer, but it is more of a hard drive connection problem more than anything else. for my problem, i just shut down the computer (switching off the power supply, the whole connection to the wall) and then restart and the screen asking for removable boot media doesn't come up again.

Your disk drive may be failing.
Make sure there is nothing in your floppy and CD/DVD drives.
The exact details of the message will hape a repairman diagnose the problem.

This may be because of a hard disk fault
also check the cables are connected correctly and in firmly.
your computer cant detect the hard disk.
it means its trying to start windows from a boot up disk try safe mode f6 before windows kicks in
