wow im sorry for what happened. i can totally know how your feeling. i am truley sorry. i went through the exact same thing that you are going through right now. i would never wish no one what i went through. its awful. and im so sorry!!!!

i think you should be at your dads side right now he really needs someone to be there with you him and support him. let him know that your there with him. your dad might be feeling awful. and i know that you are to because i felt the same way.

at least you didnt catch your mom in bed with the guy. which in my case i did. well anyways. don't worry about your mom just give her time. please at least try to forgive your mom, because no matter what she is your mom. i know you hate her right now, but please at least try to. make sure you don't leave your dad he needs lost of support and theres no better support than his sons support. about the divorce don't you think its better if they get a divorce because then it wuold b choas in your house believe me. don't be sad you will get through this. and pray for your family. this problem will be fixed all it needs its time. hope your okayyy.!!!!! im am so sorry once again!

You did the right thing. Your mom was wrong to ever put you in that position and she's wrong again to punish you for her mistake. You didn't cause the divorce, your mom's decisions did.

Divorce is hard, even when parents aren't involving you in their own mistakes. It's difficult to see your parents as fallible. Hopefully your mom will see that taking out her frustrations on you isn't the right thing to do. If not, at least you have a close relationship with your dad, or so it sounds.

Don't let yourself feel guilty. Seeing your family is too painful to add unrealistic guilt into the equation. You'll get through this. Wish I had some lyrics to help. All I have is the knowledge that it'll get better.

could go either way, depends on the reason for the divorce and how badly the child was affected: 1 - a divorce will be more likely because the child has not witnessed fully the sanctity of marriage and therefore could decide to give up when things get tough 2 - a divorce will be less likely as the child knows first-hand the rough time his parents (and he) had as a direct result of the divorce, and would not like to experience that (or for his children to experience that) therefore he would be more inclined to do whatever it took to make the marriage work. you didnt do anything wrong and you shouldn't feel awful, in a weird sort of way you should feel proud of yourself cause you did the right thing. Your mom shouldnt be at all mad at you because if she really cared she wouldnt be having an affair in the first place. soon enough it will be over, hang in there! and about the songs i cant really help you on that im sry except this isnt at all rock but "bring on the rain, by jody messiana" or something like that just look up Bring on the rain in youtube or something. hope all goes well

I'm sorry you're sad, and I bet you feel like you betrayed them both because you kept the secret and even had fun with aguy when you knew he was destroying your parent's marriage. I think you should try and have your dad get custody.

Because after you were on your mom's side and kept her ugly secret- she'll have a really hard time warming up to you. So hopefully you all can get consuling.

During this time, I think you should spend a lot of time at your friend's house, and do some self-review because I would not want to end up like my mom if I had yours.

So surround yourself with friends, get up in the morning before your parents and go to bed before they do - or something.

If you want to be happier- you should try and stay out of the house.

u know i could relate w/ what you are saying... i worked w/ my mom and found out she had a lover at work i didnt really want to say anything untill i couldnt take it no longer i told my dad and a divorce was on the way but it stop because they worked it out and we all just moved 2 a diff state to get away from it all and are a happy family again my mom no longer works though... what im trying to say maybe they should try to talk things over see if there is anything to save from the relationship...

Sorry about that but I think you did the right thing...you had to sacrifice something for the one you love and your mom was wrong for even being so arrogant w. her lover to even bring him around you....she did something wrong and what goes around always comes around....I hope that in time you can heal...best of luck

But you really shouldn't feel bad about it at all, you completely did the right thing. It really isn't your fault.

And have you tried explaining it to your mom like you just explained it? Maybe she would understand.
