Honda civic question?

I have a 1997 Honda Civic LX with 98,000 miles. I just bought it a few weeks ago for $1,800, a low price cause it has some body damage and just isn;t the most appealing car on the outside. It does however run perfect.

I am fairly certain the timing belt and water pump were never changed on this car, and I was wondering when it is recommended to change it. I had thought it was about 90K miles, but someone just told me 60K miles. I had actually thought about driving the car through the winter and selling it for a profit cause I can fix some of the body stuff, and just riding it out without doing the timing belt and water pump.

Any suggestions, thought?
