Every time Yahoo upgrades, I wait to see what the reaction is before I upgrade. I have heard nothing but complaints about 9 so I have not and will not upgrade until forced.

How to view a profile:

· To view a Yahoo account profile using a SN, click this URL: http://profiles.yahoo.com/ type the SN at the end, (backspace to / first if needed), click enter.

· To view a Yahoo account profile in a chat room, right click on the name and choose ‘View Profile’.

· To view a Yahoo account profile in IM, click on their image box and choose ‘View Profile’. Or click ‘Actions’ on the menu bar. A menu will drop down. Slide down to ‘Contact Options’. A side menu will open. Slide over and down to click ‘View Profile’.

· To view a Yahoo account profile for someone on your messenger list, right-click on their name and choose ‘View Profile’. The SN’s for recent conversations are listed in the pull down arrow at the right of the bar near the top of the Messenger interface.

· To view the profile of a Contact on your profile, click on the contact’s user image and an arrow will appear. Click the arrow and a box pops up with a few options for contacting that connection, or viewing their profile.

· For an Answers profile, click on the image box, or user name.

If a main account profile is unsearchable, you will see this message: “We've launched a new profile on Yahoo!. The user you are searching for either does not exist, or has chosen to keep their profile private. Learn more about the profile on Yahoo!”
