How can I loose 10 Pounds Before My Quincianera ON November 18 2006?
I need to loose 10 punds before my sweet fifteen i try not to eat alot but i am obses i weight 145 and need to get at least to 135 or less in 21/2 weeks.

You lose the most weight when you exercise and sweat most of the weight comes off in the sweat. The more you sweat the more you will lose. My last job i worked on 120 degree temperatures and all i did was walk around and i lost 15 pounds, but i sweat ALOT! good luck!
You are 14. Don't sweat it. Your body is growing and changing. Just watch what you eat and exercise daily. You don't want to start the unhealthy diet/binge lifestyle now. Losing weight is changing lifestyle choices...

You need about 2070 calories a day to maintain your current weight.
Each pound is 3500 calories. Every 3500 calorie shortfall you have in your intake of calories will equal one lost pound.
So in 17 days, eating 1000 calories a day, 5.2 pounds is the best you can hope as actual weight loss (tissue and fat vs water).
The GOOD NEWS is, as many here say, you can lose probably another 5 "scale pounds" by losing water weight, and intestinal waste weight.
By the 18th, if you eat reduced calories, but always drink a lot of water, you should still be more or less okay, and very close to your goal.

First of all, cut out ALL processed crap.
You may want to try the South Beach Diet. The first two weeks almost everyone loses at least eight to 12 pounds.

first of all you are not obese at 145 unless you are only 4' tall.
drink LOTS and lots of water. no sweets. no bread. no "white" food. try the atkins diet...no carbs and you should lose close to 10 lbs.
