I really need some tips on how to lose 40 pounds and quick. Any work-out routine or diet plan would be helpful. I'm desperate. Everyone is telling me that I've gained weight and it is because of stress and I hate it.

Hey Cassie Nicole, me and you are in the same boat, but the first thing you have to do is believe in yourself, and look in the mirror everyday and say that you are beautiful and wonderfull made. Trust me, we know when we've come to that point when it is time to say, damn this I need to lose some weight, but you know it will nnot just fall off just take it one day at a time. When your fed up, I mean really fed up, stop drinking the soda's, you will be amazed!!! Trust me, do a 30 min. intense workout 3 days a week, a light moderate walk for an hour, however you want to do it. I always feel better after a workout, but you have to just stick to it baby, if you want it bad enough. Watch what you eat, change some of your eating habits, and drink plenty of water. Logically I feel like those are the best steps to take and yahoo answers is my support system, You Can Do It, just remember to never doubt yourself and that you are beautiful and wonderfully made STEP1.
Eat nothing but baked, grilled, or broiled fish, chicken, turkey, or very lean beef, eggs and fat-free milk, fat-free cottage cheese and/or unsweetened Greek Yogurt. No fruit, no veggies, no grains, no flour, and no sugar. Drink water or unsweetened tea (green tea is especially helpful). Take a daily multivitamin since you won't be getting all your nutrients this way. Walk briskly at least 20 minutes a day. After 4 days, have unlimited non-starchy veggies (without butter or sauces) every other day, in addition to the other foods. On those days walk at least 30 minutes. It won't take any time at all, I've lost over 25 pounds in two months this way.
When you reach your goal weight, slowly incorporate fruits and grains back into your diet sensibly. One day a week, revert to the non-veggie diet, for maintenance. Continue to avoid sugar and fattening foods as much as possible. Watch the scale. If it starts creeping up, don't delay, jump back on the program for a few days.

If you weighed 140lbs. so (140 x 13 calories) it takes 1820 calories to maintain your weight. To lose one pound a week you need to cut out 500 calories a day to lose one pound a week. So, if you cut 500 calories a day (eat 1320 calories a day) AND workout...you could get close with around 8 pounds in 30 days if you are really active.

Their is no quick way or diet to loose weight weight lose is a life style change you have to eat less and move more it will take time. If you try to lose weight fast it will come back fast.
Eat intelligently. The difference between man and beast is that we are driven by intelligence while beasts are driven by instinct. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Ask you’re self whether your body really needs it.
