I'm 15, 5' 6'', and weigh 133 pounds. I think I weigh so much because my parents force me to finish my plate of food at dinner every night even when I am full. My parents also buy fast food like pizza and McDonalds at least twice a week.
My mom is 5' 3'' and weighed only 100 pounds when she was my age. I've been wanting to lose weight ever since I was in 7th grade, but I have never attempted to do so. Help!

133 lbs is a completely normal and healthy weight for you height. You shouldn't stress over it. But anyway, losing 5-10 lbs is your choice so here you go:
You've probably heard this before but the only real way to lose the weight is: Diet and Exercise. Here's the diet+exercise plan that I made after doing a *lot* of research. I've been doing this myself, and after a week or two, I've already lost over 5 pounds.
For your diet:
- eat 1/2 or 3/4 of what you are currently eating
- low carb foods!
- eat at least a little bit of foods with high protein
- fruits and veggies, every day
- about 8 glasses of water, every day. Don't drink too much though because you can wash away the good stuff. Drink water before a meal so you don't feel as hungry and you eat less, drink water during the meal, and drink water instead of snacks when you feel hungry.
- when you feel hungry during the day, either drink water or eat fresh fruits/vegetables. NEVER eat sweets, artificial flavored foods, sodas, etc.
Exercise:
- run a mile (or more) at least 3 times a week. It's tough at first, but it definitely does work. After some time, running will get easier and you'll find yourself speeding up and/or going for longer distances. If you can't run a mile without totally dying, then run half a mile, walk at a fast pace for another half mile, and then continue with your running for the the other half of the mile. Never walk slowly/leisurely because it'll be a lot harder to get back to running. Plus, it won't be as effective for burning the calories. Running is great because you increase your heart rate and you can lose fat all over the body.
- if you want to try to lose belly fat, after the first week or two of running, start doing core exercises like crunches. Don't bother doing these very much during the first week of running because no matter how much abs you build, the muscle will be hidden under the belly fat.
- swimming is also good for you.
My top ways of exercise are biking and swimming. Since it's summer, I have been able tp exercise more. Biking 15-40 minutes a day is great cardio and works your legs a lot. Swimming works almost every muscle in your body, without putting strain on your joints. Also, find a way to eat healthier, fruits and veggies instead of processed foods. By doing this I have already lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks, hope it helps!
the best way to loose weight is to eat foods with less fat in them and to exercise more and when you go out to eat instead of ordering a full meal order a kids meal with water not pop the kids meal may be small and dorky but it will help and try eating and try talking to your parents about how you cant eat all of the food because you are full and try telling them that by eating fast food some much its hurting your body by putting really gross fats in you
when getting mc'd don't get like a 1/4 pound burger get like snak wrap or salad or something good for you then play out side you dont have to go run on a tred mill or lift weights, playing is excersise such as riding bike tag or other activitys also instead of pop try unsweeted tea or water.
How about exercising?
