if you have any form of a storage device on your digital camera then you can upload them by using a card reader that attaches to your pc. If you have a USB port on your digital camera you may also upload via usb.
if you bought the camera from a store, it should come with a usb cord that you can attach to the front(or back) of the computer. Your computer should automatically detect it and a dialog box should apprea asking u what you want to do.
Also if you did buy it, the camera has software that you can install and use to download the pic to your computer.
Either way works, but depending on what you use to download them, you may have different option on what to do or edit the pic.
The software is not necessary though to download the pic.
Also, some desktops have memory cards slots that you can just insert the memory card thats inside your camera and upload them into your computer.
Hope this helps.
Note: make sure your computer is up-to-date so that you have the latest drivers for the camera your wanted to upload from. (go to start, all programs, and at the top part there should be a link for "Windows Update" to update your computer with any necessary driver updates as well as security updates your computer might need.)
Your camera should come with a USB cable. Stick one end of the cable into your camera. Then put the other end into a USB port in the computer. If your computer is on, a pop-up with pop up on your screen and it will say something about detecting a camera or something. After you see this, go to My Computer, and look for your camera name. It should be somewhere near the bottom. When you open the Camera file, there will be some pictures if you took any.
Depends on the platform and your camera. Some cameras come with software you can use to download the pictures, in Windows you can find the camera in windows explorer and get at the pictures that way, or use a picture program that was included on your computer.
plug the digital camera in the pc through USB.. then go to the user interface of the camera, if it doesnt have a user interface.. goto movie maker of your windows.. then click on import picture.. or you can use Nero 6 or 7 to import those pictures
