We visited Greece in 2010 And while in Athens, (one of our 5 Greek Cities visited) I saw tons of graffitti, but the question is, how did Greece, a country of less than 12 million population end up owing so much money?
I mean, Mexico, (as an example) with a population of 112 million, has its books in semi order. But they earn nearly 1/2 of Greek wages. But Mexico is not in financial trouble as Greece.
How Did the great country of Greece get into such a mess?
Update:I love Greece, I wish them the best, It hurts me to see them have to sell ancient archeological sites and lands. The Greeks (ancient) They are our model of law and order.

The greenback is so weak in the present day because the authorities keeps to print money, not subsidized by gold. it truly is devaluing the greenback. for sure, some imagine imagine it truly is being executed on purpose, because this may enable the U.S. to more suitable actual pay the deficit.
By making financial promises (in the form of generous pensions, free healthcare, etc.) that cannot be kept.
Sound familiar?
