There are some people whom I linked onto as contacts, and I've recently discovered that some of them are no longer contacts and that I had to reconnect to them. What's up with that?
As it presently stands, Yahoo lets you either allow all contacts, or refuse them all. Unfortunately, I had to delete all of mine because of trolling "issues." I hope I never have to do it again.
I have suggested to Yahoo that people be allowed to accept or decline individual invitations from "fans," as on 360, rather than just permitting all or none.
I also suggested that any "block" should be mutual - if you don't want a particular person answering your questions, why should you want to answer theirs?
It means that somewhere along the way they blocked you. When someone blocks you, they are removed from your contact list. Some people will do this temporarily, to quickly get rid of all their possible stalkers, then allow contact again, to see who tries to reattach, so they can check them out more closely.
One of my other contacts had that happen recently and had to reconnect with me. She figured out an explanation having to do with trolls... I didn't quite follow it.
