Greek culture is derived from Egypt. Behind the legend that Zeus brought Europa over from Egypt to Crete is the truth that Egypt is a higher-age civilization and the Greeks learned from it. All their great men studied in Alexandria.
The Minoan Cretans and the Phoenicians were great sea-trading rivals.
You obviously know nothing of history. Alexandria was set up after the invasion of Egypt by Alexander the Great, which was at the end of the Classical Greek Civilization. Socrates and Plato were already dead before that city ever existed and Aristotle was long dead before the library in Alexandria was even erected. Also, Alexandria was a Greek City! It was founded by Macedonian Greeks and Egyptians were not allowed to live in the city. Only Greeks lived there. This went on for some time. Also, in case you did not know: Cleopatra was Greek (Macedonian). Yes, born in Egypt, but Greek Egyptian.
