What ever the decimal is put just the numbers over 10 or 100 or 1000 etc. and simplify.
Ex.:0.678 = 678/1000 = 339/500
0.12 = 12/100 = 3/25
They may not be like that but that's how you do it.
Count the total decimal places with numbers except zeroes at the end. If the last number is on the tenth place, then it's n/10. If it's on the hundredth place, then it's n/100. n is the numbers in decimal place.
Decimal places go by powers of 1/10. So 0.6 = 6/10, 0.06 = 6/100, 0.006 = 6/1000, etc. This also means that 0.235 = 235/1000, 0.66 = 66/100, etc.
