Both are immoral. Natural Family Planning (the improved rhythm method) is allowed.
"Periodic continence, that is, the methods of birth regulation based on self-observation and the use of infertile periods, is in conformity with the objective criteria of morality. These methods respect the bodies of the spouses, encourage tenderness between them, and favor the education of an authentic freedom. In contrast, "every action which, whether in anticipation of the conjugal act, or in its accomplishment, or in the development of its natural consequences, proposes, whether as an end or as a means, to render procreation impossible" is intrinsically evil:" - Catechism of the Catholic Church
As being a Catholic we are definitly not a devil worshiper! However we dont agree with birth control or condoms because sex is a gift given to us to have children and procreate, not to see a person as a means to pleasure. God wants us to give a whole gift of self during sex not giving a pleasure to another and not creating a child which is a representation of love.
remember the safe sex ads, "as long as you wore a condom you were safe ."and yet condoms have a failure rate of up to 18% depending on the temperatures of various countries , being latex they can breakdown in humid to hot conditions, turkey a few yeas ago returned over 500,000 that had perished
birth control pills are known to have cancer carrying carcinogens ,hence the high number of cervical and uterus cancers in women, add to that the weight problems they cause and the low libidos of some women ., also allows many women and men to cheat on their spouses causing breakdown of marriages and society in general,
there are now approx. 30 different venereal diseases compared with 5 nearly 60 years ago
Catholics don't base morality on feelings, but on the teaching of the one Church founded by Jesus Christ, to which He promised, "Whatsoever you bind upon Earth is bound in Heaven". Artificial birth control is a violation of the marriage vows, which include the promise to be open to the gift of children. Also, chemical methods like "the pill" or Norplant do not prevent conception. They prevent the newly formed developing embryo from implanting properly in the uterus, thereby causing his/her death, which is in fact an early abortion.
Sing to the lord a new song: how do you know we are going to suffer in Hell? Are you God? Or are you even a part of Gods church for that matter? If not, then I would suggest you worry about your own Salvation as a Heretic and denier of the Church of Christ instead of telling us what to do. Mkay?

I think they're terrible
One, they stink like some chemical brewed in the pits of hell
Two, they corrupt the minds of our children allowing them to think that they can experiment with sex freely and without consequence.
Three, they prevent creative and natural laws.
