How do you do alt codes on a laptop?
It doesn't have a number pad, just the row of numbers at the top. I know there must be a way to do them but I don't know how :(

Most laptops still have Numlock button (Num Lk).
Even if it doesn't have a "number pad" as you call it, if you activate your "Num Lk" you should have some smaller numbers on some of your letters/numbers.
Like on my Dell Laptop, I have the num lock numbers on :
7, 8, 9,
U, I, O,
J, K, L,
...M.
(M = 0, the you count J, K, L..... as 1, 2, 3....)
You should have something similare on your laptop.
If you could maybe tell me what laptop you've got?
It would be simpler.
