The paper is 80# weight. I've tried the normal erasers on top of pencils as well as an art eraser. This is a scrapbook page for someone else. Help!
Update:I can't cut it out because the paper is the actual page of the scrapbook. I have photos and embellishments on that page as well as photos and embellishments on the back side. If I can't get the pencil marks out, I will have to redo both pages. :(

The erasers on the top of pencils are far too hard to do a good job.
Use a plastic eraser or a putty eraser (kneadable art eraser) if you can find one - altho' if the paper surface is very soft, this may cause more damage by pulling off the fibres. If the paper is soft, the pencil will have scored the surface so put a hard surface under the page so your eraser can penetrate to the base of the marks you've made. Also, turn the page frequently so you can erase from different angles, often pencil sits in the fibres that are hidden by the shadow of your hand. If there's still pencil left in the 'furrows' of your marks, try pressing them out from the reverse side with the blunt end of a bone folder.
If these are guidelines of some sort you could consider beefing them up a bit and making a feature of them!
Erase Pencil
Have you tried a Kneaded Eraser?? It's squishy and feels nothing (or looks) like an eraser. They are moldable and because of their squishy abnormal texture, it's able to get into the pores of the paper better than a normal art eraser.
I suggest kneading for it for a while though to soften it up. (if you purchase it) it works on other types of pencils too, like color, graphite, charcoal, etc.
I hope this helps and you won't have to redo your papers :(
Sometimes using a plastic eraser works, depending on how dark the color is. It will at least lighten it up a bit.
I really messed up on a project and im 13 so cant just walk over too the store
