If you want to have a genuine HP/Compaq replacement, then visit the HP Parts site and search for the actual keyboard part number. It should be on the label somewhere that's underneath the keyboard.
If you don't have to have a HP/Compaq replacement keyboard, then go to Circuit City or Best Buy (or anywhere that sells computer stuff) and ask for a new USB keyboard. Microsoft and Logitech make lots of great keyboards. Buy one, unbox it, plug it in, and enjoy.
