How do you undo wii parental control settings if you have forgotten your password and secret question?
ok so my dad put parental controls on the wii when we first got it just to have. He didnt bother to remember the password. Now, he doesn't even remember the answer to the secret question, "What is your favorite sports team." I tried to reset to factory settings but you need to know the password for that! Does this mean i cant use online at ALL?

u could try a wii system format but prepare to lose all of your memory.
try savin all of the important stuff on an sd card
NO!!! Don't reformat, that will take too much time and effort lol not to mention the possibility of losing everything...
Go to parental controls on the wii setting. When it asks for your pin press "I forgot" and then it will ask you you question also press "I forgot". Then a screen will come up telling you your confirmation number. Write down the Confirmation number and go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and type in your confirmation number in the box then pick the date in your timezone (actually make sure you pick the date that your wii is set at!!!) and click "get reset code"
A "Master Key" will then appear a split second later. Type the master key pin into the mast key box that will appear after the confirmation key notice will appear. This will deactivate the parental controls.

I would have to say formatting the wii's memory is the only way out. Beware this will destroy all data except for shop data (don't format that ever). I would recommend getting a memory card and then copying all your data on to it (except for channels they don't copy).
