I have two cichlids:Black Convict and a Golden Severum.A month ago one of them laid eggs,and the baby fish died.How frequently does they spawn?
It varies, have you find out which one of the two is female?
Convicts generally will lay eggs every 1-2 weeks. If it's the convict that's the female, then expect eggs very soon. :) Severums are every 2-3 weeks if I recall correctly.
